{weekly goals ~ september 8-14, 2013}

fallWow!  I can’t believe that I’m actually sitting here writing up another weekly goals post.  It feels like I just did this.  Oh wait, I did!  LOL

So just as a recap, here is last week’s list of goals with an update on how I did.

Goals for the week of September 1-6, 2013
1. Walk 20-30 minutes daily (even if it’s a leisurely walk, gotta get moving!)
2. Order Yoga video from Amazon
3. Start piano lessons with the girls
4. Increase water consumption to 60 oz per day
5. 10 PM bedtime every night
6. Complete one organizing project from my master to-do list
7. Go on one date with Husby

I gotta say, I think I did much better this week.  I walked 5 out of 7 evenings, so I’m giving myself that one.  And I managed to increase my intake of water every day….but didn’t hit 60 oz every day.  So, that’s one that still needs work.  At least I’m not drinking diet sodas anymore.  The problem now is that I just got a couple of hours without drinking anything at all…..and that’s not good for momma or the noodle.

We went to bed early every night, but there were a few nights that I couldn’t sleep due to stomach issues.  But, again, I’m giving myself that one….because I was at least in bed by 10:00.

So, on to my list of goals for this week:

Goals for the week of September 8-14, 2013:
      1. Walk 20-30 minutes daily (even if it’s a leisurely walk around the neighborhood)
      2. Practice yoga 1-2 times (my new DVD arrived yesterday!!)
      3. Increase water consumption to 60 0z per day
      4. 10PM bedtime every night
      5. Complete one organizing project from my master to do list
      6. Call midwives about scheduling interviews/tours
      7. Finally finish reading Grace Based Parenting
    8. Limit online time to 1 hour per day (excluding time spent updating blog)

At this point, my major source of variability comes from random bouts of nausea that have the ability to bring me to a complete stop and force me to rest. I think it’s possibly my body’s way of telling me that I’m trying to do too much. Gonna work on that.
Be well,
Melony
