showing love {day thirteen}

If you were to flip open your bible to Galatians 5:22-23 you would read a passage that might be very familiar to you, or might be brand new.  This passage is most commonly known as the fruits of the spirit.  It is a list of character traits that will portray themselves in the heart and life of a believer.  The first fruit listed is “Love”.

Countless times in the Bible we are commanded to “love one another” and to “love our neighbors as ourselves”.  The greatest command that the Lord gave to us was to love.

So, today my focus is on showing my family love intentionally.  Taking moments to tell them and show them how much they mean to me.  Reminding them that my life would not be nearly as full without them.

May we all be reminded to love our families today.
