Okay, I’ll admit that I’m pretty much the typical Type A personality. I LIKE PLANS!! I NEED PLANS!! It sometimes often drives my husband crazy…….but that’s the beauty of marrying your best friend. He’s the one man that has managed to love me even with all of my “quirks”.
So, I try to start out each week with some semblance of a plan for meals, errands, cleaning to-dos, etc. I have set several goals for myself to accomplish for the month of September. This month I’m going to try to break down my monthly goals into smaller weekly goals. Hopefully this will keep me on track.
So, the biggest goal for this week is to spend 2+ hours on the treadmill within the next 7 days. This is a big one for me because, I like working out ~ but not at first. When I first start back up with a workout plan, it feels like torture and I can very easily talk myself out of working out on any given day. So, this week this will be the biggest goal for me to accomplish.
Our weekly meal plan is:
Monday: Lasagna (from the freezer), salad, and garlic bread
Tuesday: Slow cooker Beef Stroganoff, veggie
Wednesday: Barbecue Sandwiches, Sweet Potato Fries, & Baked Avocado Fries
Thursday: Slow Cooker Teriyaki Chicken & White Rice
Friday: Pizza Friday!!
Saturday: Leftovers
Sunday: Leftovers
To Bake: 2 Ingredient Apple Cake, Soft Brown Sugar Cookies
Lastly, I’m planning on putting together 6 freezer meals for my family. This basically means three different recipes doubled. I’m also going to work on toddler-friendly freezer meals for Little Man. I’m really excited about this, too!
On top of all of this, we are in our second week of homeschooling. We will be starting vocal lessons this week and starting horse riding lessons probably next week. Whew!
I’m sure that there will be VERY few people who are interested in all of this information. But for me, it helps me to get all of this out there. So, there it is!!
